Verity made such a big difference to our experience. She was there throughout and gave me a strong sense of safety and reassurance.
V was someone who we knew in advance, who knew and respected our wishes/values about birth and we were able to talk things through in the moment and we were able to advocate for ourselves in the moment.
I loved Verity's confidence and passion about birth and babies. It really helped me to fight what has been a life long fear which delayed me even having a baby for years ! It has been a huge relief to let that fear go through our conversations and coaching/mentoring.
The hypnobirthing coaching and breathing work made a huge difference during the birth itself which ended up being a home birth with no intervention, using the techniques Verity introduced us to.

I did the hypno-birthing course, and its not all hippy dippy, like you'd expect. Verity is so down to earth and put me at east the moment we started. It really does work and Verity is so helpful with any questions or worries you might have.
I had a 10lb baby, no intervention, unmedicated, no tears and a 3 hour active labour. I breathed my baby out using the techniques I was taught.
This course and having a doula like Verity is the best thing you can do for yourself and your birth!
Verity was so helpful preparing my partner and I for our second birth. She gave me the confidence to clearly articulate what I wanted for our ideal birthing environment and the coping mechanisms that enabled me to birth our beautiful baby girl completely unmedicated. I had 1 hour of active labour, and 13 minutes between my waters breaking and baby arriving, my body and mind just felt prepared thanks to the advice from truthful birth company.
My partner felt better enabled to be a supportive birht partner and knew exactly what I needed to stay in the zone. She was a wealth of knowledge and so easy to chat with, couldn't recommend her highly enough!
It is worth it and will make a huge difference to your relationships with your baby and partner. It saves so much time working skills or tips out that make life so much easier when life is so exhausting with a new-born.
Somehow the house was reset and tidied like a house work fairy had been over without me noticing. V would get me cups of tea, water, snacks and lunch, hold the baby and listen to me all in one! My friend said she is the baby whisperer!
It is great to have 1-2-1 support to try and workout how you want to parent your baby. When there are so many opinions and advice it helps to focus on what works for you and your baby with an experienced, skilled professional.
